This combined course covers the following activities:
- inspect existing fire systems; assess compliance with the relevant legislation, codes and standards; and report on whether they continue to perform to appropriate fire safety standards; and
- prepare detailed technical designs and documentation for fire detection and warning systems, including smoke detection and alarm systems, smoke hazard management systems and occupant warning systems.
FIAEAHL00 – EAHL – Common Units Course –
This course covers the fundamental skills and knowledge required by any person who handles Ozone Depleting Substances & Synthetic Greenhouse Gases used as extinguishing agents in fire protection systems, and who requires an Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence (EAHL).
This course includes the three (3) units of competency common to all EAHL Licence categories. Applicants need to complete this course and the respective EAHL Licence course to gain the units required to apply for an EAHL Licence.

This course meets the qualified accreditation requirements for Fire Safety Assessment under the FPAS Accreditation Scheme for an individual that assesses fire, smoke and solid core doors, fire seals, access panels, shutters and proscenium curtains. The course includes a Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing to comply with FPAS requirements.

This course covers the fundamental skills and knowledge required to undertake routine servicing of fire pumpsets in accordance with AS1851-2012. It includes monthly and six-monthly servicing tasks.

This course covers the fundamental skills and knowledge required to undertake routine servicing of fire sprinkler systems and fire pumpsets in accordance with AS1851-2012. This course covers the skills and knowledge required to undertake routine servicing and installation of fire extinguishers and blankets. It includes six-monthly and yearly servicing tasks.

This course covers the skills and knowledge required to undertake routine servicing of fire hose reels and complete minor repairs. It includes six-monthly and yearly servicing tasks and the replacement of hoses and drums.
